Fluorescent Assay Visualizer

The Fluorescent Assay Visualizer is a low cost, robust, field-deployable tool for interpreting high sensitivity qualitative fluorescent lateral flow or molecular assays. Significantly less expensive than a digital reader, but allowing the performance of a fluorescent test to be utilized in low cost or difficult field environments that will not support digital equipment. Omega Medical and DCN Diagnostics approached Bazza Design with a need to refine this new concept as a hand held medical device. Some basic 3D was created by Omega to prove out their concept but they realized that they needed to work out the form in a ergonomic way that was comfortable to the hand and was sized correctly to personally carry.
